Preventive and Therapeutic Clinical Trial Unit (PTCTU)
PTCTU is a unit under the Department of Community Medicine, IMS and SUM Hospital, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan, Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar. The unit has been established in the year 2020 to facilitate clinical research trials in the eastern part of India based on past experiences in handling clinical trials.
Objective
We at PTCTU focus on clinical trials involving preventive and therapeutic aspects like vaccines, immunoglobulins, preventive practices, chemoprophylactic drugs, educational/behavioral interventions, interventional agents/drugs. All phase of clinical trial involving human subjects (Phase I to IV) are conducted here.
We at PTCTU are committed to maintain quality, ethics, patient safety and confidentiality at highest level. We conduct clinical trials involving investigational drugs/molecules that are approved by Drug Control General of India (DCGI), Central Drug Standardization Control Organization (CDSCO).
